Atlas Cedarwood is a native evergreen tree of Morocco. It has a deep, amber coloured oil that is relaxing and grounding and wonderful for meditating with. If Everlasting is not on hand, this oil is the one to replace it. Used in many shampoos to encourage hair growth.

Cedrus comes from the Arabic word 'Kedron', meaning power. Very popular amongst the ancient cultures to bring people closer to the spiritual realm, this variety of Cedar wood is purported to be the first essential oil used by Egyptians in mummification to escort the dead to the next world. Many years later, King Solomon harvested them to build the Second Temple as the scent from the wood was believed to connect inhabitants of the temple to God. It is mentioned over 40 times in the Bible. It is also one of the ingredients used in Buddhist incense in Tibet to enable the practice of mediation and temple rituals.

APPLICATION:
Topical: Apply with carrier oil
- 1-2 drops on pillow before sleeping for a restful night.
- Rub 2-5 drops into palms and warm. Distribute through scalp to reinvigorate hair and encourage growth. Alternatively, add 2-5 drops to conditioner.
