Eucalyptus Lemon-Scent has a wonderful odour. It has a strong citronella like smell that is distinctively less camphoreous to the other Eucalytpus oils in the Pranarōm range due to its low concentration of cineole and its high concentration of citronellal. This makes the oil perfect for giving the same benefits as the other Eucalyptus oils in regards to supporting the respiratory system and the immune system and cleansing the air, yet producing a scent that is very agreeable and more efficient in deterring insects.

HISTORY:
This tree is thought to have originated in the tropics in areas of Queensland. It has since spread to many parts of the world where the climate is tropical. Like many of the Eucalyptus species, these trees were used by indigenous cultures as a poultice for joint and muscle pain, wound healing, and infections. To heal rheumatism, the leaves were made into beds and used in steam pits that were heated by fires.
