This essential oil is one of the most precious of all. Highly sought after in parfumerie, the quantity of rose petals used to make 1ml of essential oil is so large that it has made this oil very rare and valuable. It is an oil for love, for passion, and for enjoyment, it opens the heart and is great for meditation. Different to other oils, Rose essential oil waxes in cooler environments and returns to a liquid state in hand or pocket. Small amounts should be used as its scent can easily overpower others.

HISTORY:
According to fossil evidence, Rose is 35 million years old. Cultivation of them in gardens began 5,000 years ago probably started in China. Roses were grown extensively during the Roman periods, they were used as confetti during celebrations, a source of perfume and for medicinal purposes.
APPLICATION:
Topical:
- Add 1 drop in 30ml of any neutral carrier oil. Use for massage.
- Rose essential oil can be added to any formulation. Only a tiny amount is needed to produce a powerful floral scent.
