HISTORY:
The clove tree is native to the Malucca island, part of Indonesia. Cloves comes from the French word clou which translates to nail, a name that resembles the appearance of clove. The French discovered the clove as a toothache remedy although Chinese already used it over 2000 years ago as they were chewing the clove to ease toothaches and sweeten the breath.
